4. NORA CHERRY – STUDENT COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE The Science Club Battle of the Bands fundraiser is Friday, April 20th and the Science Fair is tentatively set for May 15, 2007. Lance Maye took first place at the Badger State Science and Engineering Fair held at Marquette University in Milwaukee on Saturday, March 17, 2007. There were three other students who participated they were: Jon Wieting, Ethan Huc and Savannah Schwarz. Sara Shaffer, Melissa Skudlark, Steph Haulette, Jen Kozak and Crystal Schroeder presented their science research projects at the 45th Annuyal Wisconsin Junior Science, Engineering and Humanities Symposium on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at UW-Madison. The Academic Bowl contestants were Angela Wojkiewicz and Kylie Diges in math, Lance Maye and Nate Olive in science, Kristine Blum and Alyx Knudson in language arts and Nora Cherry and Keytelynne Gribben in social studies. Angela Wojkiewicz placed third. Nine members of the National Honor Society went to the animal shelter in Menominee on Saturday morning to clean cages and walk dogs.
