BSSEF is affiliated with the International Science & Engineering
Fair (ISEF). ISEF is responsible for establishing the rules and guidelines
for the
international
competition and maintaining integrity and fairness for all students.
Science Service founded the ISEF in 1950 and is very proud to have Intel as the
title sponsor of this prestigious, international competition. ISEF is the world's
largest pre-college celebration of science. This event is hosted annually in
a different city* each May and brings together over 1,500 students from more
than 51 nations to compete for over $2.5 million in scholarships, tuition grants,
internships, scientific field trips and the grand, International
Science and Engineering Fair prize.
